Greenville, South Carolina | Engagement Session | Harrison & Jamie
“Hey Jamie…I’m making an executive decision. We’ll do the rest of the photos in the morning.” I said this walking up to the camper, looking into some very dark clouds. Queue the CRACK of lightening exploding, and a DOWNPOUR of rain, and all of us on-top of a mountain. Don’t worry we were well covered! But that was just a small part of an EXCITING, MEMORABLE, weekend spent in Greenville, South Carolina, for Harrison and Jamie’s engagement photos…add in some s’mores, watching the Clemson game on-top of a mountain, playing games at their place, exploring downtown Greenville, and lot’s of laughter, and really, really, good food, the best company, and you have our weekend.
This session was so special, because Harrison is my cousin in-law, and Jamie already feels like she’s apart of the family :)! I was so honored when they asked me to capture their engagement photos, and their wedding in April 2020. I think the phrase, they met in the city, fell in love in the mountains, fit’s them perfectly! It was so neat to get to spend time with them, and really see their love for each other over the whole weekend. My twin sister Brooke, got to come down and help, and hangout. I talked to her later, and she told me, “They are so PERFECT for each other. Harrison was meant to be with Jamie, they compliment each other to a tee!” I couldn’t agree MORE!
We spent the first part of the weekend at their beautiful home, and exploring downtown Greenville. Then went up to Harrison’s families property in the Mountains for some evening shots. Which thanks to a storm, turned into one of the most GORGEOUS sunrise sessions I’ve done! I grew up going to the Mountains. It will always be a special place for me, so to capture an engagement session there, was definitely a bucket list shoot for me!
Dear Harrison & Jamie,
Thank you so much for having us the whole weekend! It really was a BLAST! It was so special to capture these photographs for you all. I am so excited to have Jamie become apart of the family! Harrison- ya picked a good one…or should I say, she picked a good one ;)! Bring on the celebration and party in April! Jamie, you are going to be a STUNNING bride!
xoxo, Brittany
